BTS Skytrain covers Sukhumvit perfectly. Use Grab for taxis (no meter scams). Tuk-tuks for short scenic rides only. Avoid tuk-tuks for long distances — they're tourism props.
Rent a scooter (~250 Baht/day) or hire a tuk-tuk for the day (~1,000–1,500 Baht). Grab works in some areas. Metered taxis from airport — avoid touts.
Bangkok: 34–38°C. Phuket: 30–34°C with sea breeze. April is hot and dry — ideal beach weather. Occasional brief afternoon showers. Stay hydrated constantly.
Thailand uses Type A, B, C plugs (same as India — Type C/D). No adapter needed for most Indian plugs! Good 4G throughout Bangkok and Phuket. WiFi at all hotels included.
Always say "mai sai naam pla" (no fish sauce) and "mai sai oyster sauce." Look for เจ (Jay) symbol. Vegetarian Thai food is widely available near your Sukhumvit hotel.

Golden hour is 6–7am and 5:30–7pm — absolutely stunning in both cities. Karon Viewpoint at sunset is unmissable. Charge cameras before Phang Nga — no charging on boats.
